My RC side steps started rusting within the first year. My rust proof side steps. Customer service was extremely unapologetic, rude and couldnt wait to get off the phone. Really frustrating as they advertise as a great American company, that has the best warranty in the country. This is what happens when you cut too many corners, doubt they will be in business 10 years from now. Average cheap products with poor customer service. Very dissatisfied customer, no longer supporting RC.

I wrote in right after Christmas. Ordered product they asked for make model year DID NOT FIT. Didn't have proper receipt in box. So when I went to do a REFUND, I could not without order #. BECAUSE there was no receipt. Took forever to get any confirmation. Finally today get email for credit. I do not want credit. I asked for a refund.

They did contact me. Just the # I needed, no apologies, nothing.I just had shoulder surgery, unable to drive to send product back.

Waiting for Fed Ex. It was a Christmas present. They obviously don't care.Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement.

I will update you when this gets resolved. If....it ever does.

I ordered and need to send it back. When I went to refund page it asks for product #. I never got a recepit in box. Can't get any answers. No info bill Can't show receipt there wasn't one hence no info Not very impressed. Pretty bad when your company asks make model year ad they send wrong product. This was a gift

Truly one of the worst products and companies you can support.

Spend a little more and get the better products from BDS etc. The product par to subpar and the service when you have an issue is worse. This company could care less about a customer whether you are buying one kit for a personal vehicle or you are a dealer like me that was buying 25 plus a month for over 15 years. They have an attitude as if you are bothering them when you have a problem. As a dealer, I am responsible for MY customers experience and when you need them to assist you will be let down and that trickles down to the customer experience.

I bought a bumper from you 2 years ago and installed it a year and a half ago. It looks horrible! Completely rusted out and you should be ashamed of your own product. I have always bought your products and will no longer do so or recommend anyone else to you either after talking to your customer service yesterday. You should should be ashamed to call yourselves anything to do with ROUGH because you do not build them to handle even climate and this is mostly a city jeep and garaged winters. I'm sure your poor quality has something to do with COVID like everyone else's excuses

Im not mad at rough country , Im pissed at American Trucks 1) charging me a $11 fee for extended warranty when you warranty it for 3 years 2) they make me go to you about the return when I bought from them ( and I see they raised price impaired to your price on site 3) I told them I will not recommend them to anyone . So that being said , Ill just order straight through you .

Ordered shocks only got 2 need 4

ordered front shocks never got them yet next day order rear shocks,got them 2 days never got a tracking number for front shocks called 2 times already still no front shocks or tracking,means they never sent them,also they say on web the shocks were made in tenn.great USA made thats why I bought them also must be good they use them from factory ram off road when ordered on new truck,he is the BAD got the rear shocks opened box looked at shocks stamped in the fron MADE IN CHINA.BAD BAD BAD.

Horrible customer service Reps

I ordered 2 sets of spacers which should be a total of 4. They send 2, so I call and tell them send another set. They do, but send wrong ones. Then, I call again and they will not send new set until I pay to ship the other set back, which will take weeks. Then they cop an attitude with me over the chat (which I have saved). Customer service rep was named "jeremy". I am in the automotive customer service business, and the way he short answered and smart mouthed me was uncalled for. I will never use them again, and I spend thousands a year with their company. Not anymore.

Terrible service

I had bought the upper control arms for a Nissan titan after reading the q&a section rough country stated oem bushing and balljoints will fit as replacements in the arms. I ordered oem they were to small I went to rough country asked for the part number for replacements since they lied about oem fitting.

The part number they gave me is for a special joint only they have. They never told me that they just gave me the part number so I could look for a part that only they have. After coming back to them again asking why theres no part existing for that part number they went on to tell me I need to order them directly from them. Mind you my truck is apart wait the new part.

So now I need to order it asap I have to pay for the ball joints after all this crap service and being lied to along with next day shipping. Next day shipping mean Tuesday is the soonest arrival from the previous Friday due to labor day weekend.

I would suggest never using this brand go with something of higher quality and at least half good customer support. They fail to update they're site and take no responsibility.

They sell you the wrong parts and are a bear to deal with if you tell them they made a mistake.

items perched: 6 inch lift kit, slip you kit, cv drive shaft. over 2k in parts but whose counting.

spring was faulty used it anyway it broke told them and they didn't tell me it was under warranty when I explained the situation to them and charged me an extra something like $400ish I waited a week for it to come in.

The guy on the phone was rude and did nothing to help he only sold/chared me for a new spring and set of shocks. when I asked what did the warranty covered and why I was going to be charged he hung up on me and I waited a week to see some parts.

that was one experience with them....

the next time I had to call them was about another defective part.

because the drive shaft joints and bolts broke. I called to ask for a replacement they hung up on me a few times ooh sorry I mean "disconnected" according to the manager who we never got "disconnected' from after he asked for my number... also told them about why I was charged for the spring and shocks under warranty.

he sent me the refund for the shocks and he sent me a whole slip yoke kit since they sent me the wrong yoke part after I had already wanted a week so he sent it out and I waited another week for the rite part after a whole hassle from the staff (with more phone games they like to play). so at this time I was already out about a month without my car. so he sends me a part GROUND not even trying to rush it and THEY SENT THE WRONG PART AGAIN! I called them and could not get through to a manager this time.

left my name and number since this is my daily driver and I needed a way to get to work and school. this is the second time they send me defected parts, now I have no car to drive and they keep hanging up on me. today the guy said he would order me a new part and I didn't get an email (current it says on the website they are back ordered so maybe he didnt eve process my order I always get email as soon as Its done.)... I have been documenting all the Rude calls and have photos/emails and spoke to other people there they are mostly rude hang up on you sell you defect parts and make you wait months to send you out a new one if they even do believe you or hassle you to sent them photos which I did and they even and it seem to upset them even more because I guess the truth hurts...

they were so RUDE I had to prove my statements. I HAVE. NO PROBLEM DOING THIS BECAUSE I HAVE NO USE FOR BROKEN PARTS THAT DON'T FIT mind you I am certified machinist this is crap faulty parts... I told the manager I really wanted to do business with them but now I see why they have a bad rep.

Ill pay more someplace else for a better part with a real warranty that I don't get hassled for when trying to replace the wrong and defective parts they keep sending me and that I keep waiting for not to mention l the hassle they give me and they dont even send parts when they say they are sent out. if you ask them for a part id they don't even check the actual parts sent out only hassle you when you try to return them based off a shipping label on the box.. any body else making jeep parts that want my money?? here please take it.

don't buying from them. btw I did skip a few details of the run around and Halse to keep this review somewhat short to save you all some bs from them..
